Abstract

Introduction :Noncompliance to antiretroviral drug is an emerging problem among HIV patients .This review analyses the the rate of noncompliance among HIV patients.Methods:Systematic review was done on papers published in 2018-19.Fifteen papers were reviewed.Results:The common reasons for noncompliance reported were combination of drugs,side effects,care by multiple physician,fear of side effects,duration of treatment,limited access to care, cost of medicine and difficulty in remembering medication instructions.Conclusion.Noncompliance to drugs affect the treatment outcome of HIV patients.
