Insulin is packaged in either ______ or _____

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Either pens ir vials.

Genetically engineered bacteria produces human insulin . Bacteria population in large fermentation tank double in size every two hours. Purified human insulin. Either packed in pens or vials. Pens are more safe and convenient than vial and Syring , accurate dose labels , easy to carry ,small and thun needle size which reduces fear and pain , time saving due ti prefilled and preset insulin dose.

Vial is mostly used in hospital setting .

A certain grocery store in Tuscaloosa receives 20%, 40%, and 40% of its packaged salad from Suppliers A, B and C, respectively. It is known that excess moisture (which causes a slimy texture) occurs in 12% of packaged salad from Supplier A, in 8% of packaged salad from Supplier B, and in 10% of packaged salad from Supplier C. What is the probability of randomly selecting a salad that is both from Supplier C and has excess moisture? Find the...

After injection of a dose ? of insulin, the concentration of insulin in a patient's system decays exponentially and so it can be written as ??−??, where ? represents time in hours and ? is a positive constant. This represents the residual concentration (remaining in the patient) ? hours after injection. (a) If a dose ? is injected every ? hours, write an expression for the sum of the residual concentrations just before the (?+1)st injection. (b) Determine the pre-injection...
