Both triple aim initiative and California AB 394 policy demands
the same thing. The triple aim initiative focuses on three things
which we call the “Triple Aim”:
- Improving the patient experience of care including quality and
satisfaction.
- Improving the health of populations.
- Reducing the per capita cost of health care. Whereas the
California AB 394 policy focuses in RN to patients ratio which is
actually very important for triple aim initiative successful. Let

So the examining the above ratio , we can say that this policy
has a lot to do with triple aim initiative because it stands for
all the three aims :
- Improving the patient experience of care including quality and
satisfaction: When each patient's health will be taken into deep
consideration, obviously the patient will be satisfied.
- Improving the health of populations: The more nurses are
apponted for less patients that means the nurse can deal each
patient specifically and more intensively which can cure the
problem of the patient from the root.
- Reducing the per capita cost of health care: The more
intensively the patient's will be cured, the fastly they will
recover and they will not have to visit the doctor again and
again.
