Principles of health care ethics.

It is the values should be respected by the health care providers while interacting with individuals and their families and communities.

5 principles are

  • Confidentiality and truthfulness.
  • Autonomy.
  • Normaleficence.
  • Beneficence.
  • Justice.

Confidentiality and truthfulness:

The treatment secretes should not be revealed to any others unnecessarily. Should always tell truth to the patients.

Eg:If the test result of patient confirm any severe diseases means should inform patient the truth.and that should be a secrete to others.

Autonomy:

It is every individual right to make individual decisions,self determination and independence.

Eg:patient have the right to choose their treatment schedule. If surgery is required means patient consent is required for the same.

Normaleficence:

It is telling that should not harm the patient unintentionally or intentionally.

Eg:Can soothe the pain by doing some necessary measures.

Beneficence:

It is doing good for society.

Eg:Immunisation for babies.

Justice:

Equality and impartiality during treatment.

Eg:all the patients should be considered as equal without any class differences.
