NO , You dont have enough time to untangle the suture.The surgery is a crucial situatiion and at the time the health proffessional is not suppose to untangle the gathered pieces of gut sutures. The untangling might be resulting in the damage ov tissues or might also leads to the complications ov the surgery.

The perfect sewing material is sterile, easy to handle, strong (along its entire length), infection-resistant and inexpensive. It also needs to behave the way we want it constantly. As you can imagine, it is extremely difficult to create a "perfect" stitching, which is why there are a variety of materials available that offer unique properties.
