It is one of largest problem faced by health care system. It is impermissible use of private information of patient by violation of privacy policy. The patient information is used for personal purpose. As financial information stolen can be made unusable by owner as soon as he come to know but health care information can't be changed so now a days healthcare breaches are more common. As all information of patient is stored in database a insider person or a hacker from information can get access to information and use it for personal benefit. The biggest health care breach till date is of anthem health care insurance company in which personal information of millions of members was breached.

2- cost expensiveness

As information sector needs are growing day by day so cost to provide the following needs is also increasing day by day. Multispeciality hospital have to store a wide information and so there cost for information management system increases. So cost of service provider is increasing to store such a wide information. And as patient number increase to cope up with services innovation has to be brought in database which requires high cost for research and development.
