Thoughts, beliefs and fears usually experienced by such persons are of whether the medicine will destroy his body, he may die due to the medicine, whether the medicine has any side effects. He fears of his death. He thinks that he can live long without treatment.

The role or culture plays an important role in the way of lifestyle a person may have. The African Americans usually have a rough lifestyle. They take lots of oils and alcohols. This is just an example. Lots of such examples are there which proves the statement.

It is necessary for the health care workers to understand the perspective so that they can provide both the medication treatment as well as mental health treatment. Proper interactions can help to get relief from all the problems listed.
