Major source of contamination is through water.

It can kill various harmful mircobes in water by adding some chemicals like chlorine and iodine.
2.Filtration
It is the best way to rid over large amount of contaminants from water.
3.Reverse osmosis
In this method, water is pressurized and then forced through a very fine membrane. Up to 90% of contaminants are left behind in the reverse osmosis process.
