Epilepsy is a group of Neurological disorder characterised by seizures.It is the fourth most commonest disorder of all ages.

The factor causing epilepsy is high if there is a family history which is heredity(genetics- the inherited traits got from the parents). Generalized Epilepsy is one type which occurs due to genetic factor. If one parent is having epilepsy or both parent is having epilepy, the rate of occurence for children is only 5%.

The genetic facors mainly involves the life style, medication, Pychological,medication,alcholol, Nutrition deficiency(minerals and vitamins),Sleep disturbance,illness (both with fever and without fever),head injury, stroke,toxins,Degenerative disorder,metabolic disturbances in lifetime,which can trigger from one generation to another
