QI stands for Quality improvement which aims at maintaining the improvement in the healthcare system and its principles and functions and also targets pver a specific group of people with specific conditions. It is usually achieved through wide variety of systematic approaches.

Change was moreover introduced in the coporate world before it was adapted in the healthcare system.

Improvement depends on the change.

Change is very crucial method as it involves a wide range of techniques and individuals and sectors like leadership, like building a team and improving the patient family involvement etc. It is very difficult to adapt to the change

Whereas improvement requires change like adapting to a proposed strategy and train their staff towards the focused changs that will facilitate the improvement
