Refined Sugar comes from sugarcane or sugarbeets which are processed to extract the sugar . It is generally surcrose which is combination of glucose and fructose.

Food supplements which contain high quantity of Refined Sugar are as follows:-

1)High fructose corn syrup

2) Table Sugar

3)Cane sugar

4) White Sugar

5) Brown Sugar

6)Honey

7)Malt Sugar

8) Molasses

Refined Sugar can increase the risk of Obesity, type 2 diabetes and heart disease. They are also linked to higher likelihood of depression, dementia, liver disease and certain type of cancer.

A Diabetics patient is always advised to take a balanced diet with high protein content,low calorie, devoid of Refined Sugar low saturated fat , adequate polyunsaturated fats, low cholesterol and sufficient amount of fibres
