The pathophysiology of the skin infections. The infant can develop different skin infections as he comes in contact to new things in new environment, when the baby is contacting and thing which is infected like toys etc the infection comes to skin >> less immunity >>> infection grows >>> signs like itching , redness, papules etc

The systemic infection in neonate is called as neonatal sepsis, pathophysiology

These infections are generally transmitted from mother during intrauterine life and also can be caused homes as children's are more prone to infections like respiratory distress ,upper airways infections etc

When baby is infected >> organism gain access to blood >>> divides and form colonies >>> multi organ dysfunction ... Symptom are wt loss, organ damage, less urine etc
