importance of health education:

this is a program designed to help the community people in improving knowledge and return of investment. health education helps a community in getting access to health care resources and services and thereby promoting the overall health of the community.

in order to develop a community, community particpation and motivation is required. community development is based on the promotion of social, psychological, physical and spiritual health and well being of the people living in the commnuity. this helps to identify the key concerns of the community and the stakeholders involvement in finding the solutions to these issues. health education could also influence decisions made at state, local and national level development and legislations which could impact the health of the community, thereby enhancing the health of the individuals.
