Consider a client situation involving a 43-year-old construction foreman who has been on disability for 2 years due to neck and back pain. He is married and has three young children. He spends his days attempting to relieve his pain by taking pain medication and visiting his health care providers. How do you think the client feels? Why do you think he feels this way? How might the nurse assess the client to gain accurate health information? How do you feel about the client? What prior life events could have contributed to your feelings? The spine provides rigidity, flexibility, stability to body head to toe, to a person involve in his dY to day activities. Any kind of discomfort he feels in this part may be a reason of severe pain this region or it affects other part of body. This is because of over uses of tendons, lugments, intervertbral discs.

There are some causes like

1.disc herniaton,

2.spinal stenosis,

3.sprain and strains

4.spinal osteoarthritis

5.vertebral compression fracture

In all these cases associated with severe pain leg, neck, other part of body. It can be mild or severe. In mild case most of treatment includes gentle massage and physiotherapy.

Treatment mainly consit of gentle massaging with any pain releiver and physiotherapy as per the requirment of part involved.

For permanent cure the patient should lesser overlifting practice and avoid loading heavy weight. He should undergo for rest and relax this part.if the continues he should make follow up of doctor consultation.
