Times have changed fom the past. Peoples mindset have changed and technologies have been developed.

Some of the practices then which were not allowed is acceptable in todays world due to advances in technologies and various other reasons.

In hippocratic oath, use of knife is prohibited which is changed today as people undergo various surgeries to attain better health.

Likewise, euthanasia and abortions are said to be illegal by the oath.
