2. By entering into the blood calcium channel blockers prevents the entry of calcium ions into the cells of the heart and it's arteries. It causes prevention of heart muscles from contracting strongly.

3. Calcium channel blockers also leads to dilation or expension of blood vessels (coronary and peripheral arteries). It causes enough way to blood circulation that leads to low flow of blood.

4. Administration of calcium channel blockers also causes decreasement in the functioning of sinoatrial node as well as atrioventricular node.

5. All of above actions of calcium channel blockers indirectly or directly leads to slow blood pressure.
