b) inexpensive and portable.

c) need minimal training.

d) objective with high specificity and sensitivity.

Disadvantages:- a) It is difficult to obtain reliable measures in field settings.

b) difficult to interpret results obtained with various indicators and cut off points.

c) insensitive for detecting subtle changes in body composition in comparison to other methods.

2) There are various methods to do this. The best method to me is "Dietary History".

Fundamental and use:-to measure long term dietary intake and is easy to do.

Advantages:evaluates long term dietary habits, quick and easy to do.

Disadvantages:-selection and measurement of food, some will change food habits during the recording period.

3) It is important to assess nutritional status in such patients because Too much protein is harmful for the kidneys. It can't be filtered by the body and too much proteins will leak out through glomerulus. So, protein deficiency can be seen.

Assessment method used:- 24h recall method. It is the best method to be used in this patient.
