Side effects:-diarrhea, fever, headache, chills, chest pain.

Interactions:-should not be given to patients having allergy to cefuroxime.

Available as both oral and iv forms.

b) Keterolac:- It is used for short term treatment for moderate to severe pains in adults.

Side effects:--upset stomach, nausea, vomiting, constipation, dizziness, diarrhea.

Interactions:--should not be given with aliskiren, ACE inhibitors, lithium.

Dosage forms:-usually taken by mouth.

c) Tramadol:--This opioid analgesic is used to treat moderate to severe pains.

Side effects:--nausea, vomiting,constipation,dizziness.

Interactions:-should not be given with MAO inhibitors.

Dosage forms:-oral.
