It refers to acquired immunodeficiency syndrome.

It is caused by HIV, and acts body by interfering it's immune system, due to this affected immune system body is not able to fight infection.

And these infections are major cause for death of the person

AIDS , is caused by (HIV) human immunodeficiency virus

It has 2 antigens, i.e HIV 1 & 2

HUV. Is a ssRNA virus.

It causes infection by GP120 by attacking helper T cells

Mode of transmission of AIDS

Exchange of infected blood

Contact between broken skin, wound, mucouse membrane

Deep open mouth kissing, with exchange in saliva

Having intercourse with infected individual

Drug injection, or blade used after shaving of infected person

Using same unwashed utensils of the person which are introduced in mouth

Use of same syringe for blood sample, as used for infected patient
