Eat smart,move more campaign was one of the beneficial campaign conducted in North Carolina under the guidance of the North Carolina division of public health in 2013.the main goal of the campaign was to make healthy food choices and to promote healthy communities. Mainly they stated 6 core behaviours such as
1. Increase physical activity
2.Increase consumption of fruits and vegetables.
3.decreased consumption of sugar sweetened beverages.
4. Reduce energy dense foods.
5.decrease television viewing and screen time.
6.Increase breast feeding initiation.
They planned these interventions for seven years from 2013 to 2020.
They used community based organizations as the channel for conveying the campaign information.
