Answer #1

In a fetal pig , the urogenital system serves as the sex determining factor.

  • In a male /female fetal pig the reproductive and excretory organs share a common duct.
  • In females, the urogenital opening is located near the anal area, whereas in males , its located near the umbilical cord.
  • In male pigs, there would be a small urogenital opening immediately behind the umbilical cord.
  • In female pigs the urogenital opening will be just behind the anal opening under its tail.
