3 - It is necessary because it uses evidence available based on the patient track record and then uses it for improving the results.
Empirically Supported Treatments (ESTs) -
1 - It is used for specific people or population.
2 - It is approved by scientists that are based on the research.
3 - Treatments are directly or indirectly based on that research.
