1. Edward Janner is known as father of immunology.

2. He discovered world's 1st vaccine which was for smallpox in 1796. Actually vaccine word is derived from variolae vaccinia( smallpox of cow).

3. He observed that milkmaids who had gotten cowpox did not show any symptoms of smallpox after variolation and this lead to development of concept of immunity against smallpox.

Vaccine myth debunked-

1. Vaccine cause autism.

2. Infant immune system can't handle so much vaccines.

3. Natural immunity is better than vaccine acquired immunity.

4. Vaccine contain unsafe toxins.

5. Vaccine aren't worth the risk.

6. Better hygiene and sanitation are actually responsible for decreased infections not vaccine.
