Answer #1

Answer: Due to shortness of breath many COPD patients were housebound.Use of supplemental oxygen gave them the freedom to get out and do their daily activities without huffing and puffing and getting out of breath. Many of the patients on supplemental oxygen, going out wearing oxygen as an embarrassment or burden.or perhaps their anxiety at the thought of running out of oxygen keeps them housebound.

With the right mind set, preparations and knowledge they can enjoy being out and about.Instead of carrying a liquid oxygen heavy E tank, now available portable concentrator,M6 gas tank the cart is much less bulky than E gas tank for shopping in grocery store.M6 gas tank is 11” high, weigh 3.2 lbs and comes with a little shoulder carry bag and an on demand device. The particular device can be used for full flow oxygen or on demand. Before going out see that how long it would last on full flow and it would last a little over an hour at 2L.While going out keep an E tank on the car and use the M6 during shopping and switch to E tank after returning.Use M6 full flow while walking and climbing stairs and switch to on demand when you settled.D tanks which is 16 inches high and will last on full flow about 31/2 hours also can use for longer hours.
