What can be done to reduce the radiation dose to the patient of a CT examination for the diagnosis of urinary tract calculi?
Based on the study conducted on CT examination patient with urinary tract calculi they have studied different people with different percentage of radiation exposure there were no quality changes has been noticed even after 50 percentage reduction of exposure of radiation so it is highly recommended to to minimise the radiation exposure by 50 to 60 percentage to dignose the urinary calculi .without compromising the quality of the image even after this reduction of this exposure we are able to capture a quality image of the urinary calculi so to reduce the radiation exposure in the patient with suspecting urinary calculus so that it the effect and the harm can be reduced caused by radiation.
