But benefits of research can only be enjoyed by people when the knowledge about research it given to people outside lab otherwise that knowledge will remain inside thr lab and no benefit occur.

So external validity plays a vital role in spreading knowledge and benefits of research to people outside lab so whole world can benefited from it.
