This 27-year-old male was found to be a match for his sibling who has leukemia. He was brought to the operating room for harvesting of his bone marrow for transplantation into his sister. Prior to surgery he was worked up and was found to be a good candidate for surgery. Surgery went well without complications. His sister is scheduled for bone marrow transplant tomorrow morning.
