A) Diabetic ketoacidosis most often occurs with type 1 diabetes but can also occur in those with other types of diabetes under certain circumstances.
b) Diabetes ketoacidosis is an acute , major life threatening complication of diabetes characterised by hyperglycaemia, ketoacidosis , and ketonuria . It occurs when absolute or relative deficiency inhibits the ability of glucose to enter the cells for utilisation as metabolic fuel .

c) signs of diabetic ketoacidosis - kussmaul breathing , abdomen tenderness , vomiting coffee coloured , decreased alertness , coma

symptoms - nausea , vomiting , pronounced thirst , excessive urine production, abdominal pain
