Answer #1

Maalox is an antacid and antigas medicine. It can be used to relieve the symptoms of heartburn, indigestion and gas problems. Maalox contains Aluminum hydroxide, Magnesium hydroxide and simethicone. Aluminum and magnesium are antacids that treat indigestion and heartburn.Simethicone helps to relieve bloating and flatulence. Maalox works on existing acid in the stomach but doesn't prevent acid production. Maalox should not be used for more than 2 weeks.

In this patient he has to take 15mL so use tablespoon to measure the dose.We can use tablespoon to measure the correct dose of Maalox. One tablespoon is equal to 15 mL.
