ANSWER.

Gynacomastia :- It is an enlargement or swelling of breast tissue in males.

Resperidone it is an antipsychotic drug , it acts by blocking dopamine and it has effect on pitutary gland it stimulates prolactin which helps for production of breast tissue and lactation in pregnant mother.

This release of prolactin cause gynacomastia. Hyperprolactinemia effect on hypothalamus to cause failure of testis along with prolactin levels cause gynacomastia.

Prolactin also decrease androgen receptors and increase oestrogen , progesterone in male breast this leads to gynacomastia.
