The entire globe has continued to experience the havoc caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, which has caused businesses to close leaving millions with no means of financial support. As a result, millions of Americans have filed for unemployment benefit to date.

Gradually, businesses have started to re-open and some schools have also started classroom tutoring. Of course, there are mixed feelings associated with this.

In this assignment, you are required to address some of the concerns, such as but not limited to:

1)    how to deal with employees who may not want to return to work; some may be because they are still anxious, and others may be because they do not feel strong enough to leave their kids at the day care just yet;

2)    how you would deal with physical and emotional safety as employees return to work?

3)    what kind of protective measures should be put in place to ensure safety and wellness of school children and their teachers?

4)    discuss some work policies that may need to be revised to ensure that the employees are practicing social distancing ( provide some examples)

5)    any other recommendations?

1. the pandemic has left the world in crisis and distress, and is unique for every individual. in case if the employee does not feel comfortable in joining the organization, consider providing options to choose from such as paternity leave or cahildren care leave for a stipulated period of time until he or she feels comfortable to come back. it would be best if time is taken to listen to the problems faced by the employee and be empathetic to their issues.
