1. theory of scientific management:

it is developed by fredrick taylor. it focus on increasing productivity by increasing the pay and income. if the worker perform more effiicently, the pay will increase. this is based on the principles of time and motion, fair levels of performance, teach and train.

2. theory of administrative management:

it is developed by henry fayol. it focus on principles of managemnet such as division of work, equity, discipline, initiative, espirit de corps, authority, centralization, unity of demand, responsibility. these helps in managing an organization.

both of these theories are more work oriented and productivity oriented which is focus on the outcome of a task. this is the reason of selecting these theories.
