  • In active phase inform patient about the progress of labor,Encourage and assist patient,Monitor vital signs
  • Second stage of labor starts when cervical dilation reaches 10 cm, instruct the patient about quality pushing, give positive feedback about pushing
  • In third stage of labor, coach the relaxation for delivery of placenta, congratulate on delivery of baby
