The prognosis of Bell's palsy is usually very stable. The degree of nerve injury defines the length of recovery. Most people begin to get sounder in two weeks following the beginning start of symptoms and most improve certain or every facial function in six months.

What do you tell her

Provide reassurance that a stroke has not happened and that automatic healing happens in 3 to 5 weeks in most utmost cases. Teach her how to care at home herself regarding eye care and also about sustaining muscle tone and diet to be taken.
