Nurses should develop certain qualities innorder to have a good career in nursing. They are as follows:

1) Nurses should be updated with the latest technologies and continue pursuing certification in specialized courses related to health .

2) Nurses should care the patient appropriately in vulnerable and scary time and show some compassion, sympathy and concern to the patient.

3) A good nurse always have problem solving skills. An efficient nurse will be able to be flexible and adaptable to any circumstances.

4) A nurse should be an effective advocate for the patient if they are not in a position to speak for themselves. A genuine smile of a nurse makes the patient more comfortable and pass them with the message they are reliable.

5) A nurse who exercises respect for all co-workers , patients and families will earn a high level of respect in return.
