Rigor and Relevance Framework

The Rigor/Relevance Framework is a tool developed by the International Center to examine curriculum, instruction, and assessment along the two dimensions of higher standards and student achievement. It can be used in the development of both instruction and assessment.

The national approved learning frameworks are:

• Belonging, Being and Becoming: The Early Years Learning Framework for Australia (EYLF)
• My Time, Our Place: Framework for School Age Care in Australia (MTOP).

• Belonging, Being and Becoming: The Early Years Learning Framework  (for young children aged from birth to 5 years of age, which applies to most long day care, family day care and kindergarten services)
• My Time, Our Place: Framework for School Age Care  (applies to outside school hours care services and long day care or kindergarten services with school age children).
