1)Involuntary care is ethical expecially when the mentally I'll fellow pose a serious risk of harming others or even themselves. 2) patient with severe mental illness have much right to refuse or consent to treatment because not all of them loss medical decision- making capacity. Although some mental I'll person loss medical -decision capacity. 3) I think patient should not be forced to take medication but the care giver should try their possible best to negotiate a way forward without resorting to refusal of treatment. 4) ways to encourage patient to adhere to treatment plan includes: medical practitioner should collaborate with patients .ii) stress the danger of non compliance to them.iii) making the instructions on the care plan simple. Iv) discuss side effects of the medication to patient.
