Carmelita . A . Divinagracia is a Filipino nurse theorist. She got her Masters in Nursing in 1975 and Doctoral degree in 2001. She worked as An Advanced practice nurse in cardiology and held many academic managerial position like Dean of University of the Estern Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center. She worked as clinical nurse, instructor, head nurse , lecturer and written about her experiences and formulated theory of Composure behaviour.
Composue Behaviour Theory and Nurse's attitude and perception towards Abortion:
Abortion is the cessation of pregnancy or fetal development. An induced abortion, is the process or act of inducing the cessation of pregnancy. Nurse's attitude and perceptions are widely varied on regarding the topic. Many research show that Nurse's judgement on abortion, is mainly depend on the situation of the woman, who undergoes abortion, rather than a general perspective of Abortion. So that the woman may experience physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual wellness as an outcome.
