Pathophysiology of PM include when a person is suffering from pitutary tumour then there will be changes in over or under production of hormones according to the tumor.

Because of tumor in pitutary gland there will be over production of prolactin which causes decrease in normal levels of sex harmones such as estrogen,progesterone and TSH levels.
