you are a client who is self-advocating. Write a letter (1 page) that you might use to make contact and negotiate with relevant people and agencies who can solve your problem. You can choose what issue/ need to be discussed in the letter.

Letter can be formal and informal both , we can approach to EEOC ( equal employment opportunity commission ) website and claim issue and complete assessment after that EEOC will approach employer and you to resolve the issue . Though informally complain can be done to employer as it might be case that discrimination is done by manager or hiring committee . Other option would be more appropriate to choose in a letter so i am opting for writing a letter to head employer regarding discrimination in a potential job interview . I am writing letter to you to seek help from you regarding discrimination in job interviews.

I realised that i have been rejected in job interview due to discrimination and not because of inability to surpass the requirements as some questions regarding my race , sex and family have been asked during interview which make me uncomfortable to answer and after that i was rejected from job which make me feel to counter ask or seek help from you regarding issue as my interview was taken by one of your Head manager team whose name is Mr. Kevin .

Please review the situation , i have attached my resume with letter to assure my qualifications.

Hope you will pay attention to it and resolve the issue as soon as possible. Also i find it more appropriate to contact you before reaching EEOC as i believe in you and your policies , kindly review it and resolve it
