It is a legal procedure in which a patient specifically.mentions in a document what and how he wants to be treated medically if he becomes incabale of making any decisions for Themselves due to illness.

Purpose:- To give the power to the patient to make their medical decisions for themselves.

Content:-A living will is a form. Another is a type of attorney form or proxy in which a person appoints another person to make decisions when the patient is unable to do this.

Impact:-It has a good impact upon patients end of life situation as the patient knows beforehand what is going to happen to them. So, they are at a peace point during their treatment and are not afraid of getting any wrong decisional treatment at their end.
