Answer #1

1. Difference between an acute and chronic wound

Acute wounds advance by the normal degrees of wound healing and display obvious manifestations of healing in four weeks, but chronic wounds do not advance normally by the stages of healing, being hindered in one stage and do not show confirmation of healing in four weeks.

2. Difference between healing by primary and secondary intention

Healing by primary intention healing occurs when the wound boundaries come close e.g. by sutures. Healing by secondary intention occurs when the wound boundaries cannot come close and the wound requires to heal from the origin.
