Answer: Professional nurses have ability and authority to participate in decision making process. Professional nurse indulge themselves in providing care and treatment by indulging themselves in various methods and practices. The professional nurse plays several roles in healthcare settings such as communicators, advocate, instructor, specialist etc. The professional nurse have degrees, registered and have right to formal practices. On the other hand, the nurse who has a call for nurisng doesn't have the same authorities or rights to perform certain things and duties. They can not administer IV, apply catheter etc. They have limited number of responsibilities and obligations. They are bound to perform the duties that are concerned to them.
