Definitely muscular endurance is more important than muscular strength for overall muscle fitness.
Reason :- This is because ,Muscular endurance results in muscle strength for extended period of time.But muscular strength is for short duration.
Muscular endurance means doing heavy works(example in a gym) for longer duration.Whereas muscular strength means exerting maximal force while doing some heavy exercise for shorter duration.But in general actually it is not possible to know what is important for whom.Men generally have bulky bodies compared to females,due to testosterone.
Smart people tend to focus more on mucular endurance.However,majority of gym go-ers rely more on muscle strength.It gives them pleasure,a sense of satisfaction but long term get no values.
