Your human resources department had indicated that this could be a contributing factor in the number of operating room deaths.

The hospital is facing a crises of high number of deaths during surgeries. Hence there are several lawsuits being filed against the hospital, reducing it's credibility. Hence the hospital's name is tarnished and the revenue is thus affected. Human resource department has indicated that this crises has occurred due to over-worked resident surgeons. They are working for longer hours, than viable and hence have been ineffective in saving the patients. They have worked for more that 24hrs., this is very much beyond the statutory norms. In order to resolve this problem, the number of resident surgeons should be increased in proportion to the surgery patients. Adequate sleep should be forced and the norms must be strictly adhered to.
