1 Direct : it occurs through direct contact with the tissue or body fluids of an infected person. Physical transfer or entfy of organism through mucous membrane like eyes or mouth, open wounds, or abraded skin eg: rabies

2 fomite transmission : inanimate objects contaminated with infected individual and comes in contact with animsls or humans.

3 Airborne transmission: transfer of pathogens through small droplet. Aerosol particles are inhaled by the suspectible host and deposited in mucus membrane and cause infection. This can occur through coughing, sneezing, succtiong etc. Eg Covid 18

4 Oral transmission : Transmission of pathogen by the intake of contaminared food or water. Eg cholera

5 Vector transmission : Transmission of organism to the host through any vectors like mosquito, fleas and ticks. Eg malaria
