Answer #1

Herd immunity, also called as population immunity or community immunity is a type of immunity which is achieved when a high percentage or group of people are immune to a certain condition or infection. The immunity can be achieved either through vaccination or due to previously being susceptible to that infection or with that disease. Thereby, gaining future protection against that particular organism or ailment in a group or community of people is called herd immunity. Developing herd immunity depends on the rate of spread of the disease, if fast spreading- needs more time to achieve immunity. According to WHO, for a population to be immune, 70-90% of them should be immune to that particular disease/condition.

Based on the options provided, 80% is the correct one.
