Targeted therapy in cancer:- it is treatment by targeting a particular protein, that targets growth of protein, sometimes small molecule like monoclonal antibodies.These treatment helps in boosting immunity also. Because of poor response of hypoxia found in RCC has been used, New drug development, by sequencing and combinations of drugs, and the use of these agents in the adjuvant and neo-adjuvant treatment by acting on VEGF and mTOR pathways. This reduces the damage to normal tissues.

This is used as neo adjuvant therapy and helps in downstaging the tumors and helps in resection.
