Family Presence During Resuscitation is an important ethical issue while discussing within the medical community. According to law now family presence is accepted in paediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) than adult CPR. There is always regulatory and ethical parameters are present for accepting both family presence during adult CPR and pediatric CPR.

The regulatory parameters encourages us to ensure that all people have equal, reasonable access to health care and social resources. Legal and regulatory parameters suggests that we should strive for equal access to interventions such as FPDR. Recent regulatory FPDR allow more family members would accept the offer to be present than currently request . Currently the family members who have confidence to ask health care providers are allowed to present during resuscitation.
