Why is the efficient utilization of healthcare resources so important when delivering health services, especially now with the COVID-19 Pandemic?

COVID 19 is a pandemic disease which rapidly spread from person to person and if it is spread to an immunocompromised patient it will affect negatively.

Health care ultilization is very essential to prevent the spread of disease in terms of manpower, money and material. The spread of disease in increased among health workers due to staff shortage, lack of personal protective equipments, lack of funds etc. So during this time recruit the additional staff, include adequate PPE and funds etc.

Use of advance technologies such as telehealth which help the patient to detetmine their health status wheather he required hospital admission or not as the advice of efficient medical practitioner. Use of helpline, video conferencing is inevitable in such situation.
